Federal Government Issues New “Know Your Rights” Poster
| Effective Immediately: All businesses are required to update and display the poster in a conspicuous location. |
| June 27, 2023: The EEOC has just updated its “Know Your Rights” Poster to reflect the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA), which goes into effect today, June 27, 2023. The update highlights a covered employer’s obligation to provide “reasonable accommodations” to a worker’s known limitations related to pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions unless the accommodation causes the employer an “undue hardship.” |
